The Sunday Post – January 21st

TSP

Welcome to The Sunday Post, which is hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This is a chance to recap the previous week and announce anything for the upcoming week. You can talk about whatever you want in this post as well.

Random Thoughts:

When I went to make today’s Sunday Post, I was hit with a realization that nothing much happened on my blog the previous week except for my usual weekly posts. Perhaps I need to start figuring out new posts are something or even find new things for the blog as well. I could either blame major procrastination or just laziness (maybe a little bit of both?). Anyhow, I think it is time to get working again.

On other news, today is day of NFL Division Championships to see who gets into the Super Bowl! I’m rooting for my favorite team, the Patriots. Lately, news has been spreading that the team’s quarterback, Tom Brady, has injured his right hand (when its really just a big cut on his thumb, requiring stitches). I personally feel that everyone is making this bigger than it really is due to the fact that we’re close to the Super Bowl and that the Patriots are the greatest team ever. I think we’ll do mighty fine today and the Jaguars are going down!

  1. I’m all scheduled for next week! (Though I am a little nervous about my Tuesday post…)
Maybe you could come up with a series of discussion posts about something? Don’t worry too much about it though – I often feel like nothing exciting has happened on my blog when I take part in this. 😉

  2. Love your quote for the week! I’m typically an underdog rooter so I have a hard time rooting for the Patriots (plus I live in SEC land so it’s all about college ball here ) but it’s had to argue that the Patriots are the best team out there and I do like Brady. He’s a get the job done kind of quarter back. I tend to agree that the injury isn’t as big as they’re making it out to be but you never know what’ll throw someone. Of course since they beat the Jags it apparently didn’t throw him that much! Have a great week!
