Halloween Creatures 2.0 Book Tag!

Screen Shot 2018-09-17 at 10.17.49 PM

Happy Halloween!

It is finally October again and after the success of my first original book tag, Halloween Creatures, I am releasing a 2.0 version of it! This version will have new creatures, better prompts, and more fun! After seeing so many bloggers use the tag last year, I saw how much fun everyone had, but also the troubles and confusion the tag originally had. Hopefully with this 2.0 version, the troubles and confusion will be no more. Instead, it will be all about having some spooky fun! Also, thanks to Sam for the Mummy Prompt!

Rules:

  • Answer all prompts.
  • Answer honestly.
  • Tag 1-13 people.
  • Link back to this post.
  • Remember to credit the creator. (Anthony @ Keep Reading Forward)
  • Have fun!

I will be doing this tag myself to show examples and to count it towards my own Blogoween count. I have provided a blank template of the prompts at the end of this post for easy copying and pasting. As a reminder,  all prompts from Halloween Creatures Tag 1.0 are not allowed on this tag, and vice versa. All prompts stay on their respective versions!

If you are participating in this tag for Blogoween, don’t forget to share your answers on Twitter with #blogoween!

BOWD3

Witch
A Magical Character or Book.
Without hesitation, I have to go with the Brooklyn Brujas series by Zoraida Córdova. The series is one of the best I have ever read that has dealt with witches and mythology. Its completely original.

Werewolf
The Perfect Book to Read at Night.
I would have to choose Bird Box. It is one of the best thriller I have read that has a little bit of horror in it. It’s very interesting.

Frankenstein
A Book that Truly Shocked You.
Bonfire by Kristen Ritter. I was shocked on how much I enjoyed reading her debut and that it was really written well. I was also shocked that I liked some mystery thriller.

The Devil
A Dark, Evil Character.
Every time I think of of an evil character, I always think of Dani from the Mermaids of Eriana Kwai series. Everyone who read the series knows exactly what I am talking about.

Grim Reaper
A Character that Should Never Have Died.
Oh man, there are so many. How about I just go with everyone from Harry Potter? Except Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Everyone but them.

Zombie
A Book that Made You “Hungry” for More.
The Young Elites! After I read Marie Lu’s books, I knew I wanted to read all of her books. I was an instant fan. I wanted more…

Gargoyle
A Character that You Would Protect at All Cost.
Likh from The Bone Witch series. They must be protected at all costs!

Vampire
A Book that Sucked the Life Out of You.
One book that I tried reading, but kept me very bored the entire time was Half-Bad. I just could not find anything good from it.

Ghost
A Book that Still Haunts You.
I wouldn’t say that any books I’ve read was so bad that it still haunts me, but War Storm still haunts me on how it wasn’t even a good finish to a good series.

Demon
A Book that Really Scared You.
Honestly, I really haven’t read a book that scared me. I don’t even read much of horror books either. If anything, it would be Paranormal books and those haven’t scared me either..

Skeleton
A Character You Have a Bone to Pick With.
I would love to sit down with Inan from Children of Blood and Bone since he kept changing his mind. Like, stick with something and go for it. Stop switching things around! Also, I’d tell him to embrace who is really is.

Mummy
A Book You Would Preserve Throughout Time.
Harry Potter of course! The series has already been established as a classic. It would be nice to have the first editions be preserved though…

Creepy Doll
A Cover too Scary to Look At.
20759755
If I walked into a room with all these faces like the cover, I would be really creeped out and would want to run out of there immediately.

The Monster Mash
It’s Fun to Be with Friends on Halloween!
