I’ve been good this year and all I want for Christmas this year are books….
Every year for Christmas, it is almost a tradition for Children around the world to write Letters for Santa or a Christmas List to send to the North Pole. They promise Santa that they been a good child this year and share what they would like to find in their presents underneath their Christmas Tree. Today, we are all writing that letter, asking for books! You can write out an actual letter, or just simply state which books you are hoping to receive this year.
I think I have been good this year and all I’m asking are for a few books. I know that you know I have countless books sitting on my TBR pile already, but a few more doesn’t always hurt, right? I swear, it is only a few and I will get to them. The books I am asking for are stories I really want to read, so I know I will read them first. Here are the books I am asking for this year:
- Gemina & Obsidio by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman
- Skyward by Brandon Sanderson
- The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
As I mentioned, these are only a few books and as you probably already know, there are way more books I want to have and read. It’s a common book problem among us readers. There are many other readers out there as well and I know I can’t have all the books in the world. Everyone else needs a book with them as well. I have been doing my part and donating books I don’t want anymore so others can read them as well. Thank you for the books you gave me last year as well. They were great books!
P.S. I am going to leave you some book inspired treats this year.
I know cookies are your favorite, but perhaps something different is cool?
I actually had no intention of writing this post out in the form of a letter. I was just going going to list a few books I wanted, but I guess the Christmas Spirit got into me. Remember, if you’re participating in Bookending Winter, don’t forget to share your answers with
