The year finally ends and I have managed to read 5 books/graphic novels this month. It has been a pretty good month as I enjoyed all my reads. I did not really have any problem with any of them. I did take a “break” after Christmas until New Year’s but that didn’t stop me from reading what I can before the end of the year comes around.

In November, I have red 2 Books and 4 Graphic novels, which is definitely some progress from the previous months. I am trying to complete my goal before the year ends, but it has been a bit of struggle. I enjoyed what I did read, I would have just preferred if I would have been able to complete 1 or 2 more books.

Well, I’m not sure how to exactly say this, but I only read 1 book (well 2, if you count a graphic novel as a book) for an entire month, once again. I’m not putting the blame on anything as I actually anticipated this unlike September. In October, my family took a much needed trip and went on vacation. I always try to get some reading in, but I’m usually always doing something else. There’s so many things to do that days are packed. I actually started to have time available to read within the last two days of the vacation when time became available to read.
However, I will definitely try to read much more in November and December. I have many more books to go to complete my goal, and I would like to actually complete it. Hopefully I can stick to this plan.

I don’t even think ever I failed at this level before. I only read just 1 book for the entire month of October. I can’t even remember what happened. Was I busy the beginning of the month? Was I putting more effort in the blog rather than reading? I know there was some days where I opted to make posts rather than reading. I guess I just did not realize the trade off was going to be this. Well, hopefully this month, I’ll do better.

Normally, a monthly recap is just something to recap the latest month that went by. Since I haven’t done a recap in so long, I missed doing the monthly recap for 4 months. Now, this is a 4 Month Recap! A Mega Month Recap, if you will. This may be a long post, so we’re in for a ride.
So, what has happened during the previous 4 months? Firstly, the blog was updated. Secondly, a lot of reading was done. Thirdly, a lot more work was done, especially with reviews and trying to find the balance on getting things done that I originally planned for so long ago. It has been a wild ride of ups and unexpected downs, but I am glad to be back. I may not keep up with my usual schedule, but I plan on getting posts out there.

Can you believe that it is April already? We’re now into the 4th month of the year and time is already going way to fast. Before we know it, it will already be summer! While I look forward to summer so I can sit back and relax, let’s look back to last month to see how I did. Honestly, I am little worried to see how I did.

February is finally here and that means the new year is finally moving on. January been a pretty quiet month for me, but for books, it was pretty much the opposite.
